Based in Lonsdale, Adelaide, we are seeking a talented and experienced Inventory Team Leader to oversee our inventory control functions with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain inventory policies, procedures, and process documentation.
  2. Lead and improve inventory control activities including stocktakes, cycle counts, and discrepancy analysis.
  3. Provide accurate, timely inventory reports using Excel and Power BI.
  4. Enhance system processes across QAD, SAP, and reporting tools for better transparency and planning.
  5. Overhaul inventory processes and reporting tools for accuracy and stock availability.
  6. Monitor Inventory KPIs, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
  7. Support strategic inventory goals by collaborating with production, logistics, and finance teams.
  8. Optimize inventory across global 3PL and VMI sites aligning with production and customer needs.
  9. Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Experience in inventory or supply chain management within high-volume manufacturing.
  2. Proficiency in QAD (MFG Pro), SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
  3. Proven ability to lead process improvements and manage change.
  4. Hands-on leadership style suited to fast-paced environments with strong analytical skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  2. At least 3 years’ experience in inventory control or material planning.
  3. High-level skills in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (QAD).
  4. Team leadership or supervisory experience.
  5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  6. Experience working under pressure in high-volume manufacturing.
