We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Operations Manager – Learning & Lifestyle. This role is instrumental in supporting the operational practices within Wallara’s Learning and Lifestyle (day services) sites. You will bring your expertise in business development, networking, budgeting, financial planning and social change initiatives for the organisation. The role is located at our head office in Keysborough.

Days of work are Monday - Friday from 8:30am – 4:36pm.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Operations management/leadership experience, preferably in a social purpose, education or healthcare setting
  • Proven experience with implementing social change initiatives and business development
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable effective and appropriate interaction at all levels within the organisation
  • Skilled at developing networks with key decision makers, internal and external stakeholders and relevant organisations
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to identify issues, obstacles and opportunities and develop and implement effective solutions
  • A proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Commitment to the principles of WHS, EEO, Cultural Diversity and all relevant legislation
