Material Manager (m/f/d)

• You are responsible for managing cost reduction and supplier development programs
• You are responsible for the ongoing monitoring of the procurement market
• You are responsible for the economical and timely processing of customer orders and are the main contact person for internal stakeholders
• You are responsible for production planning and the management of scheduled orders, taking into account an economical/optimal distribution of resources
• You coordinate technical and commercial changes
• Your home: Operational purchasing for a defined product group (e.g. raw materials such as stainless steel and plastic products, packaging, etc.). e.g. raw materials such as stainless steel and plastic products, packaging, etc)
• Regular exchanges with other departments to determine the right needs and technical requirements in the best possible way are a matter of course for you
• Ongoing updating of delivery times and other commercial conditions (ensuring security of supply, identifying bottlenecks) are on your daily to-do list

Education

• Completed education in the relevant field
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing desired
• Strong implementation and emphatic hands-on personality
• Holistic approach along the value chain of an industrial company
• Independent and structured way of working as well as team spirit
• Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and problem solving skills
• Very good MS Office and ERP system skills
