The Analytics & Consulting team advises healthcare customers in Austria on market and sales strategy issues throughout the entire product life cycle. This includes market and competition analyses, development of market strategies, design of sales organizations, optimization of customer segmentation, and performance measurements. Primary market research is also a key component of our services. IQVIA is seeking a motivated Analyst (m/f/d) to join the team.

Your tasks:

1. Support our customers operationally and strategically in the development and implementation of projects.
2. Initially handle individual work packages, with increasing responsibility up to sub-project management and independent customer communication.
3. Utilize internal comprehensive data sources for quantitative tasks, with support from internal experts or external sources.
4. Apply proven tools and analytical methods, and develop innovative analytical approaches.
5. Assist in preparing, executing, and following up on customer presentations and workshops in coordination with the team.
6. Support business development activities and knowledge transfer.

Your profile:

1. Background in natural sciences (e.g., chemistry, biochemical engineering, biomedical studies, medicine, pharmacology) or economics/marketing with strong interest in life sciences.
2. At least 1-3 years of relevant work experience with a basic understanding and interest in the pharmaceutical industry.
3. Experience in data analysis using statistical programming languages/software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python); experience with dashboards (e.g., QLIK, Power BI, Tableau, Shiny) is advantageous.
4. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced data visualization skills.
5. Strong focus on quality, service, and solutions, combined with excellent analytical thinking and data affinity.
6. Quick perception and ability to manage multiple innovative projects independently.
7. Open-minded personality with excellent presentation and communication skills in German and English.
