What's the role?

At our largest Business Unit “Power Tools & Accessories”, you will lead a workstream of one of our key strategic supply projects globally. In this role, you will be working alongside experienced strategic supply managers. As such, you will also have substantial visibility to the senior management team and the opportunity to position yourself for a full-time career at Hilti.

Your key responsibilities will be to perform industry and competitor analysis, facilitate make-or-buy decisions, and define strategic actions based on a comprehensive fact base.

What does the role involve?

As an intern in our department, you will be part of a diverse team executing strategic sourcing programs aligned with the Business Unit strategy. You will work closely with our experts to develop a workstream within at least one of our projects. You will also have exposure to the senior vice president leading the area.

Your responsibilities include industry and competitor analysis, facilitating make-or-buy decisions, and defining strategic actions from a thorough fact base.

What you need is:

  • Master's student in Engineering, Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Administration, or similar
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a pragmatic approach
  • A strategic mindset and good problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of other tools is a plus
  • Relevant work experience is advantageous
