Job Description:

In Ikarus, we are looking for a creative, organized, and proactive individual with strong German and English skills to join our international language academy as an Assistant to the Content Creator and Social Media Manager. This hybrid role involves approximately 75% social media and content work and 25% administrative responsibilities. Content planning is conducted in both German and English.

Main Responsibilities (75% Social Media & Content):

• Planning and creating content for social media (Instagram Stories, Reels & Posts) in German and English.
• Scheduling posts and monitoring performance across Instagram.
• Editing images and creating posts/carousels using Canva.
• Engaging with our online community: replying to messages, comments, and maintaining interaction.
• Using tools such as Excel and ChatGPT for content support and reporting.

Administrative Tasks (25%):

• Coordinating classrooms, course schedules, and teacher-student arrangements.
• Communicating with clients and students (mainly in German and Spanish).
• Managing internal documentation and responding to emails.
• Supporting the daily operations of the academy.
• Preparing a monthly performance report (KPIs, engagement metrics, etc.).

Requirements:

• German: C1 level (spoken and written) – mandatory
• English: Advanced – essential for internal planning and communication
• Experience with social media tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite)
• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Excel, and ChatGPT
• Strong organizational skills, independence, and a collaborative mindset
