Job Description:

This position involves working in an international environment focused on hydro projects. Reporting to the Group Insurance Director, the candidate should possess key technical skills including:

• Liability Insurance Line Management: managing global master policies, coordinating local and project policies, managing complex claims, and collaborating with brokers and insurers.
• Cyber Insurance Line Management: renewing and placing cyber insurance policies, overseeing underwriting, and leading incident response teams.
• Risk Management: analyzing loss data, identifying exposures, recommending solutions, and ensuring compliance.
• Contract Review: analyzing and negotiating insurance provisions in EPC contracts.
• M&A: handling quotes and analysis for reps and warranties insurance when required.

Qualifications include:

• Preferably a legal background with common law experience
• At least 10 years of experience in an insurance company, insurance department of an international company, or law firm
• Deep understanding of third-party liability insurance and global insurance programs
• Ability to work in a global setting, including international travel
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage
• Independent, precise, problem-solving skills, team-oriented

This is a fully remote position with potential business trips in the EU and US. Salary package ranges from 60,000 to 85,000 euros plus MBO up to 15% and benefits. No people management responsibilities.
