$120,303 - $135,701 (EL 1) + Super and 10% BDCP

Land & Integrated Force Division is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Program Management Office (PMO) team. As the EL1 Assistant Director PMO, you will lead a small team comprised of both APS and Contractors to develop and mature the Division’s PMO practices and processes. We are looking for high-performing individuals who are agile, capable of managing and mentoring a team, and able to provide strategic advice and support to stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Broad responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting the Program Director with leadership, strategic initiatives, and operational management of the PMO;
  • Building project management capability across the division;
  • Managing finances and risks at the program level, escalating issues as required;
  • Managing PMO workforce/resourcing;
  • Preparing executive reports on program and project status;
  • Contributing to continuous improvement, standards, and best practices;
  • Implementing PMO governance and assurance policies;
  • Analyzing project performance, developing strategies to achieve outcomes;
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and standards;
  • Supporting management of project schedule, risk, budget, and resources.

The Land and Integrated Force Division delivers innovation, science, and technology programs supporting the Land and Joint domains. The team focuses on high-priority S&T challenges and develops integrated programs to address them, including areas such as Land Platforms, Land System Integration, Defensive CBRN, Special Operations, and others.
