As an Import & Customs Specialist, you will be responsible for the customs processing of our import shipments from third countries
You will monitor compliance with customs regulations and internal guidelines
You will review the required import documents as well as the completed customs declarations for accuracy
Your tasks will include the classification of items from various product categories
Maintaining close communication with external and internal stakeholders is part of your responsibilities
You will identify optimization potential in existing customs processes
You are interested in the long-term planning and execution of projects
Your Profile
The requirements for the role are:
As an Import & Customs Specialist, you have completed commercial training (e.g., apprenticeship, HAK, HAS, etc.)
You already have initial professional experience in operational or strategic customs processing
In addition, you have in-depth knowledge of customs law and relevant import procedures
Experience with customs declarations and tariff classification is an advantage for this position
You are proficient in using MS Office
You have proficient German and English language skills
Your analytical and logical thinking skills set you apart
You have an organized working style and are distinguished by your strong teamwork skills
