Shape the future of data centre delivery with Designer Group.

We're expanding—and we're looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of complex, large-scale MEP projects within our thriving data centre business.

This role is based full-time in Vienna, where you’ll manage multiple projects, lead high-performing teams, and ensure delivery meets the highest standards in safety, quality, time and budget.

What you’ll do

• Lead the execution of multiple concurrent projects from mobilisation to final handover
• Drive project performance across cost, time, quality and compliance
• Manage key relationships: subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, site leads and commercial teams
• Oversee design development and value engineering pre- and post-contract
• Implement Designer Group’s best-in-class health & safety standards
• Support estimation and tendering activity for upcoming works
• Provide regular reporting on progress, risk, procurement and critical issues
• Promote a collaborative and solutions-focused culture across all teams
• Actively contribute to business development efforts in the data centre sector

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years’ experience in a mechanical contracting role (data centre experience a plus)
• A deep understanding of M&E project delivery
• Proven ability to lead and manage complex, fast-paced projects
• Excellent commercial awareness, stakeholder management and reporting skills
• Degree qualification preferred, but not essential
