What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Profit-oriented underwriting and management of industrial business in the area of Technical Insurance, focusing on national and international construction projects and machinery insurance
• Providing specialised and service-oriented customer support for internationally operating brokerage firms and in-house brokers in Technical Insurance
• Sales activities aimed at profitable business expansion in collaboration with Account Managers
• Conducting risk technical analysis in collaboration with in-house risk engineers
• Drafting and documenting insurance policies
• Facilitating cross-departmental cooperation and technical coordination
• Making decisions within authority scope regarding risk acceptance, retention, modification, or rejection
• Utilising existing pricing tools effectively
• Contributing to the innovative development of the Technical Insurance product range
• Underwriting international programs

We’re looking for someone with these abilities and skills:

• Completed university or technical college degree, preferably in an engineering discipline, with at least 5 years of professional experience in Technical Insurance sectors
• Risk technical understanding of various coverage types in Technical Insurance (construction, assembly, machinery breakdown, electronics insurance)
• Excellent internal and external communication skills
• Sales orientation and negotiation skills in German and English; additional South or Eastern European languages are advantageous
• Proficiency in PC applications (MS Office)
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Commitment, resilience, and a convincing personality
• Well-developed team player qualities
• Enjoyment of working in an international, diverse team
