Tech Lead - .Net (All genders)

Job Description

As a Tech Lead, you will autonomously oversee the end-to-end delivery of a cross-functional team, collaborating closely with the Product Owner (PO) to plan and achieve desired outcomes while reporting results. This role involves ensuring high-quality technical contributions, addressing risks, and fostering a sustainable and efficient delivery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery Management: Oversee the delivery of complex projects, ensuring predictability, quality, and efficiency. Track and report on all deliveries and Non-Functional Requirement (NFR) metrics.
• Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with Product and Development counterparts to proactively identify and address technical and architectural risks, including system downtime and data security issues.
• Design Accountability: Participate in design reviews and hold accountability for system designs within the team.
• Trade-off Negotiation: Negotiate scope, speed, and quality trade-offs with the Product Owner.
• Team Guidance: Transform complex projects into individual responsibilities, collaborate with team members to create detailed execution plans, monitor team pace, and prevent burnout.
• Mentorship: Mentor engineers, primarily Software Engineers I and II, and assist in their development, performance reviews, and promotions.
• Recruitment: Engage in hiring processes, conduct interviews, and assist with headcount planning.
• Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge through workshops and advisory sessions, and participate in cross-team technical initiatives.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in C# for low latency, high availability, high transaction systems.
• Strong background in RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with SQL databases (MSSQL and PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Git.

Additional Qualifications:

• Extensive software development experience, especially in .NET.
• Proven leadership in delivering complex projects.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of scripting (Python/Bash), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
