The Bachelor’s and Master’s programs Cross-Disciplinary Strategies – Applied Studies in Art, Science, Philosophy and Global Challenges (CDS) were established in 2017 (BA) and 2021 (MA) at the University of Applied Arts Vienna with the aim of creating a study program that addresses the current challenges of globalized knowledge production. Students learn to place their topics in a broader social and political context and to apply them in cross-disciplinary projects using various methods.

We are looking for an employee with a focus on urban studies, migration, diversity, globalization, critical geography, and infrastructures, as these are relevant in connection with the other pillars of Cross-Disciplinary Strategies (Artistic Strategies, Politics & Economics, and Science & Technology).
