We currently have a vacancy for a Systems Infrastructure Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Vienna, Austria. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated into the development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems and infrastructure
2. Advise management on implementing secure IT systems and best practices
3. Design and implement secure Windows-based IT solutions
4. Troubleshoot Windows and other server hardware and software issues
5. Provide 3rd level support to Service Desk for work requests and incident reports
6. Manage projects related to secure server infrastructure

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant IT experience
• At least 5 years of experience installing, configuring, customizing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and managing software systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Configuration Management
• Experience with ITIL, industry best practices, and IT infrastructure and software security
• Experience with monitoring systems like SolarWinds and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
• Deep knowledge of Virtualization Platforms, Server Administration, Active Directory, Kerberos Authentication, Hyperconverged Systems
• Strong understanding of IT security, Enterprise Architecture, IT Disaster Recovery, and ITIL
• Valuable certifications include: ITIL Certification, PMP, or Prince2
• Excellent command of the English language
