Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, and support complex Android applications.
  • Lead and contribute to medium-to-large feature releases across multiple teams.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and roadmap planning.
  • Review code, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices.
  • Estimate tasks, manage risks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with product managers, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Proactively solve challenges and drive continuous improvements.

Your Skills

Must have

  • 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android core libraries.
  • Proven track record of delivering clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Deep understanding of the Android ecosystem, architecture patterns, and emerging trends.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and push notification services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in simplifying complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills, both within the team and across departments.
  • Attention to code quality, testing, and long-term maintainability.
  • Proactive mindset focused on delivering effective, user-centric solutions.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with cross-platform tools like Kotlin Multiplatform, Ionic, or Capacitor.
