Job Description:

This position is within an international environment focused on hydro projects. The role reports to the Group Insurance Director and requires a range of technical skills including liability insurance management, cyber insurance management, risk management, contract review, and M&A support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing global liability insurance policies, coordinating with brokers, insurers, and stakeholders to ensure coverage meets business needs.
• Overseeing cyber insurance policies and responding to cyber incidents.
• Analyzing loss data, identifying exposures, and promoting loss prevention strategies.
• Reviewing and negotiating insurance requirements in contracts.
• Supporting M&A activities with insurance analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Preferably a legal background, with common law experience preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in an insurance company, insurance department, or law firm.
• Deep understanding of third-party liability insurance and the insurance market.
• Ability to work in a global setting, including international travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
• Independent, precise, with problem-solving skills and team spirit.

This is a fully remote position with potential business trips within the EU and US. Salary ranges from 60,000 to 85,000 euros plus MBO up to 15% and benefits. No management responsibilities are involved.
