Software Commissioning Engineer, Klagenfurt am Wörthersee

We are seeking a Software Commissioning Engineer responsible for:

  1. Modeling, parametrizing, and configuring our software according to customer specifications.
  2. Ensuring software quality through testing with simulators.
  3. Commissioning the software in collaboration with various technology specialists.
  4. Conducting integration tests onsite and supporting customers with functional testing and training before launch.
  5. Implementing software adjustments based on customer needs.
  6. Preparing and handing over projects to subsequent departments after commissioning.

Qualifications include:

  1. Completed education in IT.
  2. Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (C++, C#, and/or Java).
  3. Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL or Oracle) and Linux.
  4. Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time annually.
  5. Proficiency in English.
  6. Openness to new challenges, stress resilience, and customer orientation.

We offer a secure, long-term position in a leading company in Styria and the opportunity to continuously develop within a motivated team. The position offers a minimum gross salary of €2,875 (according to the collective agreement for metalworkers, VWGr III/i1u2J), with potential for higher pay based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, depending on travel requirements, a monthly allowance of up to €1,250 net and allowances up to €1,250 gross are provided.
