Junior Electrical Development Engineer (m/f/x)

Hours: 40 h/week

TASKS:

• Creative and forward-thinking development: Participating actively in the design, conception, and development of innovative (digital) power supplies as well as the corresponding circuit design
• Layout creation: Creating PCB layouts independently, taking into account applicable standards, cost, manufacturability, and other technical and economic requirements
• Prototype construction and testing: Conducting tests in the laboratory autonomously to validate and optimize prototypes
• Technical project management: Managing the technical part of initial smaller projects and proactively contributing expertise and skills to larger projects
• Team oriented, innovative development support: Helping to shape and drive the entire development process through close cooperation with colleagues

REQUIREMENTS:

• Successfully completed technical education (HTL, FH, Technical University) in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related discipline
• In-depth knowledge of simulation and PCB design tools (e.g., KiCad, Eagle, MATLAB, Spice, etc.)
• Confident use of laboratory equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, power meter, etc.)
• Knowledge of electronic circuit development, EMC-compliant design, and electromechanical systems
• Solid professional experience in electrical engineering/mechatronics/mechanics, ideally with a focus on hardware development
• Hands-on mentality with workshop/laboratory experience
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• High degree of initiative, willingness to take responsibility, commitment as well as strong team spirit

Employment information: The market-conform, attractive and performance-related salary for this position is determined from the minimum salary that must be announced in Austria of € 3.500 per month on a full-time basis (i.e. 40 hours per week). Overpayment based on qualifications and professional experience is possible.
