Overview of Role

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager in the BOA US office, you will provide front-line hardware and software technical support to ensure all employees have a positive and productive experience with BOA’s IT systems. You will serve as the primary IT Operations team member in Austria, collaborating with a global team responsible for system administration, cybersecurity, software development, and project management. This role offers opportunities to expand your skills through international teamwork. You will handle computer setup, software installation, troubleshooting for Mac and PC users in the BOA Mondsee office, and perform network/system administration tasks under the guidance of the IT Operations Manager.

Core Responsibilities

  • Model the Core Operating Principles to your team and others.
  • Set up and support Windows and Mac systems following BOA procedures to ensure security and proper configuration.
  • Manage user account access across major business systems to maintain security.
  • Handle Help Desk tickets efficiently, diagnose and resolve user issues, and document solutions.
  • Support new hires by procuring equipment, setting up workstations, and providing basic IT orientations.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation for asset configuration control.
  • Test and validate new hardware and software before deployment.
  • Support networked devices like printers and scanners.
  • Maintain hardware and software license inventories, and support upgrades and renewals.
  • Coordinate with BOA Accounting on purchase reconciliation.
  • Assist with office hardware and network management tasks such as cabling, recycling, and AV setup.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate IT environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting Mac and PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of corporate infrastructure such as servers, switches, firewalls.
  • Experience with Office 365 Administration.
  • Familiarity with Help Desk processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Proficiency with Windows and MacOS.
  • Ability to follow procedures and suggest improvements.
  • Strong collaboration skills across diverse groups globally.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certifications like M365, MCSA, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Apple.

Legal Statement

Our minimum salary for this role, according to the collective agreement, is €2247 gross per month. Our actual packages are competitive and above this minimum, based on experience and skills.
