The Para Legal will assist in managing and recording the minutes of corporate body meetings, provide support to the Management and Supervisory Boards, supervise compliance in Corporate Governance and Fit & Proper issues, and help ensure the validity and roll-out of internal policies across the Group.
This position is limited for a period of 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fit & Proper Office and Support of Savings Banks:
1. Assist in the submission of applications for potential future members of the Management and Supervisory Boards and maintain all respective duties related to the Fit & Proper process
2. Supervise and maintain records of conflicts of interest, gender rates, annual Finrep-interrogation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the members of the Management and Supervisory Boards
3. Cooperate with Sparkassenverband, especially on Corporate Governance and Fit & Proper issues
2. Policy Management:
1. Assist in supervising and updating internal policies, such as the Suitability Policy
2. Roll-out revised policies according to the Policy Framework
3. Support the implementation process of policies in subsidiaries and savings banks
3. Corporate Body Meetings Management:
1. Prepare and distribute documents, record minutes, and follow up on unresolved issues
2. Draft and review Management applications
3. Help prepare and submit Management Board requests on various issues
4. Provide ad-hoc organizational and legal support to the Management and Supervisory Boards

Requirements

1. University degree in legal and/or economic studies
2. First experience in company law, banking, finance, or similar fields
3. Basic knowledge in corporate, banking, and stock exchange law
4. Strong organizational and project management skills
5. Digital literacy
6. Fluent in German and English

Salary: EUR 44.860,-- gross per year
