Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Digital Health Manager, reporting to our Senior Manager, Strategic Projects, on an ongoing basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure that project activities are undertaken and actioned in timely and accurate manner, in accordance with the government contract.
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Strategic Projects and the finance business partner/s to effectively manage the project budget.
  • Undertake all project reporting to government including early identification of any risks to key deliverables.
  • Management of iRefer imaging guidelines including reporting of issues, management of down time, developing enhancements.
  • Delegate responsibility, provide and expect accountability and regular feedback.
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among unit members that allows for discussion of ideas, expeditious conflict resolution, the appreciation of diversity, as well as cohesiveness, supportiveness, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the unit to succeed.
  • Work with the Senior Manager to recruit, interview, select, and employ employees with the appropriate knowledge, skills and attributes.
  • Ensure the timely preparation and distribution of correct and accurate documentation including and not limited to item summaries, progress reports, presentations in the required format and standard in consultation with College staff or members where required.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated capacity to set and manage priorities in a high activity environment and be responsive to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication, consultation and negotiation skills, to effectively manage interactions with key internal and external partners.
  • Track record in transforming strategic objectives into operational plans
  • Demonstrated experience in working with government to influence the political agenda and to be seen as the key partner in digital health
  • Extensive experience in facilitating the development and/or adoption of healthcare standards in pursuit of clinical excellence.
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in digital health or related discipline and/or relevant work experience
