Job Overview

The Internal Translator interprets written material linguistically and culturally, maintaining or duplicating the original structure and style while ensuring accuracy of ideas and facts.

You will be fluent in two or more languages, capable of researching industry-specific terminology, and committed to quality and accuracy. You should demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills for complex content and instructions.

You will build strong relationships with the IQVIA Translations Services team, contributing to the effectiveness and success of operations by updating or improving glossaries, translation memories, style guides, and identifying gaps or external issues affecting client commitments.

Additionally, you will proofread translated texts for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy, and serve as a strategic partner in delivering translations on time and maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• Native speaker in English
• Fluency in Korean (source language)
• At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents
• A tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics with at least 3 years of translation experience, or no degree with at least 5 years of translation experience
• Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools
