The university is establishing a Karl Popper Kolleg (graduate school) titled “FruitScope: A DroneScope for Smart Agriculture”. We are opening positions for applicants at this school, with an anticipated start date of October 1, 2025.

Up to 4 Predoc Scientist Positions (all genders welcome)

Employment level: 75% (30 hours/week)

Minimum salary: €39,005.40 gross per year, classified as B1 according to the collective bargaining agreement.

• Completed Master's or Diploma in electrical engineering, information and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or related fields. The deadline for fulfilling this requirement is September 17, 2025.
• Knowledge and experience in mobile robotics, wireless communications, sensing, multimedia communication, signal processing for communications, or machine learning.
• Programming skills in Matlab, C/C++, Java, Python, ROS, or similar.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
