Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at Hotel See-Villa Millstatt **** located in Millstatt. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, preparing high-quality meals, and ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met. Daily tasks will include overseeing kitchen staff, planning and preparing daily menus, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and managing inventory and supplies. The Sous Chef will also participate in training and development of kitchen staff to ensure the highest culinary standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Creativity and a passion for culinary arts
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in the kitchen
• Formal culinary training or a degree in culinary arts is preferred
• Experience in high-end restaurants or luxury hotels is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
