We are looking for a Head Chef for an amazing 4* Winter Hotel in Austria.

We are looking for a committed and creative chef for the 2022/2023 winter season (m/f/d) with:

YOUR TASKS:

• Coordination of the entire kitchen area to ensure a smooth process in compliance with quality standards.
• Creation of all menu plans and cost calculations.
• Monthly inventory (ongoing management of FF&E and O&E lists).
• Creation of daily and monthly reports to the management.
• Close and professional cooperation with all suppliers and business partners.
• Mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to around 10-20 employees.
• Maintaining procedures to ensure safety and security proper food storage.
• Creation of complete forecasts, plans, and departmental production reports for the directorate.
• Responsibility for compliance with hygiene regulations (HACCP) for the entire F&B area in cooperation with the restaurant management.
• Technical kitchen planning and implementation of special events.
• Coordinating and conducting job interviews; creation of duty rosters taking into account labor law requirements.
• Dealing with our time recording systems and their maintenance and control.
• Active support in the department.
• Compliance with and monitoring of quality and cleanliness standards.

Requirements:

• Completed subject-specific training and several years of experience in comparable positions in the upscale hotel or catering industry.
• Reliability, ability to work in a team, service affinity, and high-quality awareness.
• Independent and responsible way of working.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• Motivating leadership qualities.
• Monthly gross salary according to the collective agreement, with the willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and years of experience.
