Area Sales Executive – Vienna area, Austria

The ASE will be responsible for meeting/exceeding sales targets across the territory and for selected products. The primary responsibility is selling to maximize opportunities for generating profitable revenue from existing agents. Manage the end-to-end sales process, including selling the complete product portfolio to existing agents.

The ASE is responsible for developing and generating leads, ongoing lead management, deal structuring, negotiation, and closing sales.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire agent lifecycle and troubleshoot issues of all agents (new and existing).
  • This is a work-from-home position with fieldwork involved; a company car is provided.
  • Identify agents, negotiate and close sales, and manage ramp-up from day one. Manage existing networks (e.g., change of ownership/entities, organize recertification, banking changes, credit limits, hardware/software/IT upgrades).
  • Oversee branding of locations, yellow shops, concept stores, etc.
  • Ensure marketing materials (leaflets, stickers, merchandising) are distributed, up-to-date, and visibly placed.
  • Pricing and agent commissions at POS level in collaboration with Inside Sales.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the Money Transfer industry, with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Availability to travel up to 70% within the predefined area.
  • Degree preferred but not essential.
  • Fluency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills, account development mindset, and ability to qualify leads based on revenue potential.
  • Ability to manage the onboarding process for prospective agents, including collections and documentation, collaborating across departments.

Compensation and Benefits

Minimum salary is EUR 41,625 gross per year, with potential for higher compensation based on market standards. Additional benefits include short-term incentives, health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and development platforms.
