Quality Improvement Lead - Educational Leader

About the role

KingKids is seeking an experienced and passionate Quality Improvement Lead to work across our Bentleigh and Dandenong services. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading the continuous improvement of our early learning programs and supporting our educators to deliver high-quality educational outcomes for the children in our care.

You will be the Quality Improvement Lead at two services, working within each service for two days per week and utilising one day for administration tasks and reflections.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing educational leadership and mentoring to our team of educators
  2. Leading a team through change and quality improvement
  3. Implementing and reviewing educational programs to ensure they are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards
  4. Collaborating with the Centre Manager to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective quality assurance processes
  5. Supporting the professional development of educators and fostering a culture of continuous learning
  6. Maintaining strong relationships with families and promoting effective communication
  7. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor qualification or extensive experience with a Diploma (minimum 5 years in early childhood leadership roles)
  • A passionate, innovative person who leads with kindness and integrity
  • Extensive experience in an Educational Leader or Quality Improvement role within early childhood education
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of educators
  • Ability to observe and identify practices for improvement and excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with families
  • Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and a commitment to delivering high-quality educational programs
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Genuine passion for early childhood education and making a positive impact on children's lives
