(Senior) Software Engineer C++ (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Engineer C++ (all genders) to actively contribute to the development of new features for our remote access, control, and support solution using the latest standards of C++. The position reports to the Team Manager Software Development and offers an excellent opportunity to create impact and add value in an agile, modern environment.

• Design and develop platform-independent functionalities for our client and services using C++
• Optimize and enhance our software with efficient algorithms and technologies
• Work collaboratively in a Scrum development team within a continuous integration environment
• Ensure high-quality implementation and code
• Recommend and implement improvements to architecture and technologies to enhance system reliability, maintainability, scalability, and performance
• Stay updated with the latest technical developments and initiate improvements
• Advise product owners on feasibility studies and time estimates for new functionalities

Requirements

• University or college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in object-oriented software development using C++ (C++14 or above) and design patterns
• Experience in areas such as parallel programming, distributed systems, security, SQL, CQL, or network communication is desirable
• Structured, analytical thinking, teamwork, and motivation to learn
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus
