How will you make an impact?

As a Microbiological Lab Intern, you will join the QC Microbiological Lab, reporting to the Laboratory Team Leader. Using your technical and analytical skills, you will support the quality control microbiological team in completing microbiological testing, particularly supporting the implementation of incoming testing for excipients (TAMC and TYMC).

What will you do?

  • Support the team in implementing incoming testing for excipients (TAMC and TYMC) according to Annex 1 requirements, and promptly report any anomalies to the supervisor;
  • Perform utilities testing;
  • Conduct microbiological laboratory analyses (bioburden and endotoxin) and related activities;
  • Maintain laboratory instruments, materials, and environment;

Skills

  • Preferably MSc in biology or biotechnology;
  • Validated experience as a microbiological analyst in a GMP production site;
  • Experience with aseptic laboratory techniques, gowning, environmental monitoring, bioburden testing, utilities testing, sampling, and microorganism identification systems;
  • Management of laboratory documentation (SOPs, investigations, OOS, deviations, CoA);
  • Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken);
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and effective communication skills.
