Job Description

This role will be based in Graz, Austria.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

LinkedIn Learning is seeking a Content Producer 2 to join our English-language team to create online learning content. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of online learning content that reaches millions of members each year. The Content Producer is a key stakeholder in the course production process and is the communication hub for all other teams. This position will entail producing courses that are primarily recorded remotely, and occasionally at our studios in Graz. In this role you will have the opportunity to make an impact on a global scale by producing skills training that transforms lives and organizations.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage multiple projects in various stages of development simultaneously (i.e., project manager)
  2. Collaborate and communicate with the Content Strategy and Recording Operations teams to develop, record and publish courses
  3. Work with instructors (subject matter experts) to develop screen capture, graphic, text-based and/or live action training courses that meet instruction and scope requirements
  4. Coach new and established instructors in writing, instruction, and script development in accordance with LinkedIn Learning instructional design principles
  5. Effectively implement new production styles with instructors
  6. Occasionally welcome and oversee instructors recording english-language content onsite in our Graz studios, providing an excellent and personalized instructor experience
  7. Successfully navigate challenging relationships and complex courses
  8. Coordinate with post-production team members to develop supporting course materials including slides and course handouts
  9. Manage and problem-solve the logistics for setup, recording, and delivery of course materials
  10. Coach instructors on delivery and instruction during recording
  11. Create storyboards to support visual instruction for courses as needed
  12. Work to resolve quality production issues discovered after recording is complete
  13. Manage and meet course deadlines and release dates
  14. Act as a leader within the production process
  15. Provide opportunities for cross-team members to shadow in partnership with management
  16. Innovate and solve complex workflow and course development challenges where precedent does not exist
  17. Perform other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of experience producing educational content
  2. 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  3. Business Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Knowledge of instructional design principles, learning theories, and educational technologies
  2. Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
  3. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, organize, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with little supervision
  4. Previous experience working with instructors, subject matter experts, or faculty
  5. Prior teaching experience
  6. Experience developing online instructional content that incorporates video, audio, and text media
  7. Experience in technology-related fields, including knowledge of coding, networking, cloud computing, and Artificial Intelligence
  8. Experience with Mac and Windows operating systems, GitHub, and code editors
  9. Working proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software like Office 365 or Google Apps
