Tissue Process Excellence Specialist (Vienna)

We are seeking a Tissue Process Excellence Specialist to join a global leader in sustainable fiber solutions, a company recognized as one of the world's largest producers of eco-friendly pulp and paper products, with operations spanning five continents and a strong commitment to circular economy principles.

About The Role:

As a Tissue Process Excellence Specialist, you will:

1. Serve as the go-to technical expert (Level 2 support) for tissue manufacturing processes.
2. Lead process optimization initiatives using advanced methodologies (5-step approach, Lean Six Sigma).
3. Conduct comprehensive production audits and simulations to identify improvement opportunities.
4. Spearhead trials for new sustainable fiber applications and innovative tissue products.
5. Act as the primary technical liaison for strategic accounts across EMEA, Brazil, and Asia.
6. Design and deliver customized technical workshops and on-site troubleshooting.
7. Translate customer needs into actionable R&D projects and product enhancements.
8. Develop data-driven recommendations to improve client production efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, or Process Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years' experience in tissue manufacturing (process, operations, R&D, or quality).
3. Deep understanding of tissue-making technologies (creping, drying, fiber blending).
4. Proven track record in process improvement and troubleshooting.

Technical Skills

1. Expertise in tissue production processes and quality parameters.
2. Knowledge of process simulation tools (e.g., CFD, ANSYS) is highly valued.
3. Data analysis capabilities (Power BI, Python) for performance optimization.
4. Familiarity with sustainability metrics in manufacturing.
