Join our Motorsports Media Network team in Salzburg, Austria, and take the lead in defining, implementing and leading a holistic aviation media strategy, while also working on motorsports topics.

In a nutshell

As the Communications Manager - Motorsports & Aviation, reporting to the Senior Communications Manager - Motorsports & Aviation, you'll ensure earned media output for Red Bull’s Motorsports and Aviation verticals. Your core focus will be to grow brand attribution by engaging media, crafting global storylines, and supporting local teams to deliver high-impact coverage. Additionally, you'll oversee Aviation-related topics and initiative development across the Red Bull Media Network, working with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of authentic and strategic output that reflects Red Bull’s brand and connects with global audiences.

Strategy & Planning

In this role, you'll focus on strategy and planning by identifying earned social opportunities and creating content that resonates with new consumers. You'll develop and execute comprehensive strategies in Aviation and Motorsports, while defining and implementing a holistic Aviation Media strategy.

Collaboration & Amplification

You'll collaborate closely with country counterparts to establish agreed-upon communications plans and advocate for projects in markets with high success potential. Managing relationships with the Motorsports & Aviation marketing teams will be crucial to ensure alignment and support.

Execution & Project Management:

Finally, you'll execute initiatives by leading dedicated project teams for Aviation, translating marketing initiatives into media products, and overseeing project budgets to prioritize efforts with the highest return on investment.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • 3+ years' experience in communications or PR/marketing in a media-led company.
  • Project management experience and project team leadership skills. Good presenter and motivator.
  • Excellent industry knowledge and earned media experience. Strong understanding of the modern media landscape and experience in content release strategies.
  • Analytical thinker with a high affinity for data and the ability to translate this into strategy and concrete initiatives.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of any other language (e.g. German) would be an advantage.
  • Team player mentality, curious and creative. A problem solver and good mediator who can align different interests with the common goal.

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2.303 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
