About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and people-driven General Manager to lead our Nursing Workforce operations across Queensland. Based at our Spring Hill office in Brisbane, this senior leadership role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer – Nursing Workforce and is pivotal in shaping state-based service delivery, driving business growth, and fostering a high-performing team.
This is more than an operational role – it’s an opportunity to champion collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the health workforce space. You’ll work closely with local and national leaders to align strategy with execution and ensure our workforce and services exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong operational leadership to the Queensland office to support the local delivery of strategic projects to support the business growth in Queensland.
Lead and manage the QLD-based Nursing Workforce bookings and allocations team.
Oversee day-to-day operations, workforce planning, recruitment, and client delivery.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and lead state-level business development.
Collaborate across service pillars (Aged Care, Disability, Hospital in the Home) to support integrated growth.
Drive financial performance and workforce compliance in line with national standards.
Foster a culture of care, performance, and professional development within the QLD team.
About You
You're a natural leader with a passion for people, service, and growth. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and are confident managing teams, building client partnerships, and implementing operational strategy. You bring a commercial mindset with deep care-sector understanding and a track record of delivering results.
You will bring:
Senior leadership experience within healthcare, aged care, nursing, or a similar field
Strong people management skills and ability to lead high-performing teams
Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management
Sound understanding of compliance, workforce planning, and industry best practice
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement abilities
