Overview

We are seeking a high-performing individual to join our Central Europe Government Sales team as a Key Account Manager for Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. You will be responsible for positioning our full spectrum of solutions directly to large customers, especially defense and public safety agencies. This includes critical communication, video, software solutions, and services. Your role involves identifying, targeting, and securing new business by building strong relationships with existing and new customers. You will manage long sales cycles, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing, supported by various internal teams such as marketing, bid management, technical architects, and sales overlay teams.

Your daily activities include:

  • Driving sales across Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary with a focus on critical communication, video, and software solutions.
  • Achieving order and revenue targets through effective account management and new business development.
  • Building and maintaining relationships to establish Motorola Solutions as a trusted partner.
  • Developing and executing business plans for customer growth and new opportunities.
  • Expanding existing accounts and developing new business.
  • Forecasting orders and sales accurately.
  • Maintaining account information in Salesforce.
  • Staying informed about competitors' products and strategies.
  • Engaging with internal teams such as bid management, technical architects, and legal.

Basic Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven successful sales experience in the government sector.
  • Several years of relevant sales experience, preferably with governmental/public safety clients.
  • Fluency in spoken and written German and English.
  • Willingness to visit and engage with customers regularly.
  • Strong account management skills and ability to prospect quickly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Residence in the region or nearby (e.g., Southern Germany, Northern Italy, Switzerland).
