The Exciting Role:
From its humble beginnings, our much-loved nudie brand has grown to be the clear market leader in the Chilled Juice category. We have an exciting opportunity to lead, support, and deliver the strategic direction and growth of nudie BU brands by managing the implementation of key brand activities including above & below the line campaigns, new product development, and execution. Additionally, contribute to the BU strategy development and team implementation of the overall nudie BU strategy, focusing on key brand health and financial metrics.
- Marketing lead for the nudie business portfolio, supporting the Sales & Category team in managing relationships with Major Accounts and other Channels.
- Development of 12-18 month Brand Plans with recommendations to achieve profit, market share, and growth objectives in collaboration with Category & Sales leads.
- Development of long-term strategic plans with a +3-year horizon alongside other functional leads.
- Act as brand custodian, ensuring nudie positioning aligns with changing consumer and market trends.
- Develop and implement marketing mix (6Ps) to ensure a strong value proposition.
- Create and execute communication strategies for the nudie brand within Juice that are insight-driven, targeted, and measurable.
- Guide Consumer and Customer Facing Communications, including brand campaigns, website content, and customer inquiries, working with relevant functions (Legal, Quality, etc.)
- Identify and advise on marketing promotional opportunities.
- Manage relationships with external brand agencies (creative, website, social, copywriting), conducting regular reviews of campaign performance.
- Use consumer insights and market research to identify key issues and opportunities.
- Work with the Sales & Category team to monitor and review portfolio and competitor performance, influencing strategic decisions.
- Support sales with relevant consumer insights for range reviews and business strategies.
- Translate insights into marketing initiatives that enhance consumer engagement and market penetration.
- Manage all marketing initiatives related to the nudie BU portfolio, collaborating with project managers as needed.
- Support and embed the Stage Gate process for successful product launches.
- Develop a 1-3 year innovation pipeline, identifying NPD opportunities based on insights.
- Oversee P&L management and financial planning in collaboration with Sales & Finance.
- Balance category and consumer needs with commercial sustainability.
- Demonstrate marketing leadership, uphold legal standards in advertising, product safety, and trade practices.
- Manage performance and career development of direct reports, providing coaching and feedback.
To Succeed With Us:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing/Brand Management or a related field
- Experience with Nielsen (or Aztec) and Quantium is a plus
- 8+ years marketing experience, preferably in a top-tier FMCG company
- Strategic thinker with execution skills
- Experience in NPD development and Stage Gate processes
- Proven project management and leadership skills
- Understanding of industry regulations and community practices
- Strong grasp of business metrics like revenue, profit, ROI, and COGS
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills
- Self-motivated, solutions-focused, and adaptable to ambiguity
