Project Manager - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

As a Project Manager at CSL, you will plan projects, manage project teams, and oversee the delivery of CAPEX projects at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Broadmeadows.

You will supervise a team of contractors and staff to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time and within budget, while monitoring and controlling projects according to approved plans and management controls.

Your Responsibilities

1. Manage CAPEX projects, budgets, and schedules to ensure completion within scope, budget, and time, with an emphasis on zero harm.
2. Develop technical designs and qualification/commissioning documentation for projects.
3. Review and assist in preparing specifications, drawings, and documentation for tenders and contracts.
4. Ensure compliance with quality management systems and procedures throughout projects.
5. Follow risk management methodologies and processes during project execution.
6. Use technical expertise to undertake, monitor, and assist in commissioning and qualification activities.
7. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key operational groups, project managers, and process engineers.
8. Serve as a technical mentor to junior team members.

Your Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering or science.
• Experience in project management, including handling technical development concepts, tools, technologies, and design techniques.
• Strong technical knowledge in engineering, with problem-solving skills in design, testing, and deployment.
• Experience in troubleshooting, process engineering, and understanding client requirements.
• Knowledge of project management principles and lifecycle in large engineering and manufacturing settings.
• Understanding of contract management and administration.
• Knowledge and application of GxP principles.
