EU Project Manager (cities) with Communications background

While our annual Urban Future conferences are where Europe’s most active shapers of urban change come together – we are also engaged in several international projects with partners from across Europe, creating better streets, Positive Energy Districts, and more. Responsibilities

• Handle all administrative tasks required for these EU projects
• Participate in the projects’ steering committees, representing UFGC
• Project manage our involvement
• Hands-on work with many communications related tasks, including (social) media, websites, presentations, events coordination, print productions, and more
• Collaborate with our supporting team

What we ask of you

Apart from being passionate about cities, urbanism, and sustainability, you must be a confident communicator with excellent English skills (the more additional languages, the better). You have a strong communications background and since you have experience in leading/coordinating within EU projects (min. 3 years), you are familiar with how they work and the administrative aspect of them. You are outgoing, love talking to cool people from around the world, and are VERY structured and precise in your work – while also enjoy working hands-on and creatively in the field of communications.

Details

This position is a full-time position (32-40 hours per week). Our team is based in Graz, Austria – however for experienced managers with a proven track-record we also offer a remote option.
