Luv-A-Duck Pty Ltd is Australia's market-leading producer of raw and processed duck products. We are seeking a qualified IT administrator to maintain and develop our IT technology and manage our internal databases, software, domains, website, security, and networks.

The key responsibilities will be as follows:

  1. Manage projects related to system integration, including Parity warehousing software, NetSuite ERP, Microsoft 365, Cythera security, and network infrastructure.
  2. Resolve network IT incidents, problems, and requests promptly, adhering to service level agreements.
  3. Register all network devices in monitoring and alert systems.
  4. Maintain a register of IP address assignments.
  5. Deliver monthly reports on equipment utilization, availability, and recommendations.
  6. Provide quarterly device refresh schedules.
  7. Assist staff with system understanding and liaise with external support agencies for technical issues.
  8. Ensure proper cabling, labeling, patching, and compliance with technical specifications and cabinet designs.
  9. Implement security measures to protect business systems, networks, and telephony from threats.
  10. Recommend and test new technologies to improve IT and telephony infrastructure.
  11. Maintain or create SOPs and manuals on IT infrastructure.

Particular accountabilities include:

  1. Configure and manage routers and switches.
  2. Implement and manage firewall policies.
  3. Configure and manage wireless access points and controllers.
  4. Understand and utilize different network cables, including fiber optics.
  5. Configure and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP.
  6. Setup and manage VPNs for secure remote access.
  7. Implement VoIP technology.
  8. Set up and configure Windows Server environments, manage Active Directory, file storage, network services, remote desktop, and high availability solutions.
  9. Manage Microsoft 365 users, groups, licenses, and services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  10. Implement security and compliance features like DLP, Conditional Access, and eDiscovery.

Qualifications and experience required:

  1. Degree in Information Technology or equivalent, with 5+ years’ experience in delivering technology solutions to medium-large organizations.
  2. Experience in deploying Wi-Fi, unified communication, networking, mobility, cloud solutions, and infrastructure projects.
  3. Strong analytical skills and practical problem-solving ability.
  4. Ability to manage small projects independently and collaborate on larger initiatives.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
