#PROFILE

• Planning, operation, installation, configuration, and maintenance of netcup’s server infrastructure
• Responsibility for operating virtualized environments (KVM) and close coordination with network and hardware teams
• Implementation of improvements to optimize system performance and customer experience
• Ensuring operational stability, security, and quality
• Collaboration with internal teams as well as external service providers and hardware suppliers
• Support in handling incidents, including troubleshooting, resolution, and sustainable prevention

#WANTED

• Expert-level Linux skills (preferably Debian / Ubuntu or related derivatives)
• Experience in operating virtualized environments (KVM)
• Knowledge of networking (switching, routing, VLAN, monitoring)
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, Lenovo, HPE): troubleshooting, firmware management, automation
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Systematic, independent work style with a strong sense of ownership
• Excellent German and good English skills
