Job Description

Profile

  • Completed diploma or master's degree in data science, statistics, business informatics, economics or a related field
  • Sound knowledge of data management, data architecture and IT security
  • Experience in the development of software, data pipelines and workflows (e.g. In Python or R)
  • Interest in or experience with methods and principles of reproducibility and open science (FAIR Data)
  • Experience in working with databases, application programming interfaces (APIs) and cloud computing systems
  • Knowledge of research practice and understanding of research processes and the role of data and data processing for the quality and credibility of empirical research results
  • Interest in or experience in consulting and training
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and precisely
  • Customer and service-orientation, high reliability
  • Commitment and willingness to undergo further training

For this position in job group IVa, a minimum gross salary of € 1,695 per month (14 times) is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
