Qualifications & experience

  • Project management or team leadership experience essential
  • Basic server/network experience
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive approach to daily work
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills, including empathy, negotiation, and listening
  • Effective collaboration via video conferencing and in person
  • Ability to assess task importance to align with overall customer goals
  • Technical and proposal writing skills

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Coordinate software development projects ensuring they are on schedule and built according to scope & design documentation
  • Liaise with customers to share progress and gather feedback
  • Conduct QA testing of mobile and web applications to ensure features and fixes work correctly
  • Manage project timelines
  • Host customer update meetings, take minutes, and demo recent changes
  • Host internal meetings, assign work, discuss priorities, and receive updates
  • Log and prioritize all customer requests in line with project goals
  • Communicate with development team about stakeholder changes
  • Work with UX Designer to convey requirements and feedback
  • Manage Jira projects, identify priority tickets, draft upcoming work, and liaise with Senior Developer for allocations
  • Lead customer engagement for product testing and feedback
  • Conduct stakeholder training
  • Create and manage comprehensive project documentation
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers and Senior Developers to manage priorities and resource allocation
  • Report progress in team meetings, highlighting high-level changes or scope deviations
  • Ensure all project phases, including sign-off, review, and feedback, are standard practice
  • Participate in exciting IoT projects for in-market and upcoming products

Enjoy a relaxed work environment with casual dress, friendly team, and provided equipment. Initial onboarding requires 5 days in the office.

Working Hours

Work from home up to 4 days a week post-onboarding, with flexible start times between 8AM and 10AM. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, based in Springwood, Brisbane, Queensland.

Confidentiality

A confidentiality agreement is required at role start to protect client information and trade secrets. Strict adherence to confidentiality is mandatory.
