To strengthen our team in Weissenbach an der Triesting, we are looking for a

Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) for the Analysis of Recycled Plastics

Your Contribution

Would you like to make the world more sustainable? Join us as a laboratory technician and help transform waste into high-quality materials. In this role, you will support our team in implementing a circular economy.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the quantitative analysis of plastic waste, pre-treated materials, and regranulates, focusing on gas chromatographic analysis using GC-FID and GC-MS.
  • Performing analytical sensor technology, physical testing, and sample preparation.
  • Document your findings in test reports and incorporate them into work instructions to improve our recycling processes.
  • Manage the inventory of necessary consumables and chemical substances.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Specialized training in chemistry or technical chemistry (college, university – dropouts welcome), or training as a chemical laboratory assistant.
  • 2-3 years of professional laboratory experience is advantageous, but we also consider career starters.
  • Strong willingness to learn, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in German and English.

For legal reasons, we note that the collective agreement minimum salary is €2,900 gross per month. Based on qualifications and experience, we offer a competitive market salary.
