CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed technical education in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of professional experience (at least 5) in a comparable position, ideally in plant engineering or special-purpose machinery construction.
  • Experience in intralogistics or automation technology is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of assembly and commissioning processes, as well as proficiency in reading technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
  • Proficient in MS Office and common project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 80% nationally and internationally).
  • Very good written and spoken English skills; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
  • High initiative, independence, and a hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, assertiveness, and strong organizational talent.

Salary: Gross monthly salary according to collective agreement based on full-time employment.

YOUR TASKS

  • On-site support for the project manager at the customer’s location.
  • Key liaison between project management, engineering, site teams, and the customer.
  • Ensuring smooth project execution through to successful handover to the customer.
  • Planning, coordinating, and monitoring assembly and commissioning processes with respect to quality, schedule, personnel, and material utilization.
  • Coordination of deliveries, components, and parts, as well as ensuring site facilities and work equipment are in place.
  • Responsibility for site personnel, occupational safety, and quality management.
  • Leadership, scheduling, and motivation of the site team.
  • Responsibility for occupational safety, quality management, and compliance with legal regulations.
  • Conducting construction meetings, training sessions, partial inspections, and customer site visits.
  • Supporting the resolution of technical challenges.
  • Preparation and maintenance of site documentation, including reporting to project management.
