Data Steward – Fakultät Biologie

Administrative unit

Digital Science Services

Your tasks:

  • Supporting and advising researchers
  • Creation of information and training material
  • Needs assessment for researchers
  • Introduction and management of RDM tools
  • Networking with experts

Your profile:

  • Completed diploma or master's degree in biology, data management, mathematics, computer science or a related field
  • Experience with data management in the natural sciences, preferably in biology
  • Programming skills (e.g. Python) an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Interest in or experience in consulting and training
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, creativity and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and precisely
  • Reliability, flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Commitment and willingness to undergo further training
