Senior Network Consultant

About the Role

As a Senior Networks Consultant, your role is to deliver technical networking projects for our customers to the highest quality standard, within scope, to budget and on time. You should be able to think quickly, identify risks to schedule, and actively minimize uncertainty. Experience with Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Fortinet, or Palo Alto technologies is required.

Preference will be given to Australian Citizens eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance or candidates with current Baseline or NV1 clearance.

What you’ll do

• Develop your professional expertise across a range of applicable technologies to certification.
• Build constructive internal and external relationships.
• Adhere to company and client policies and procedures.
• Work on properly scoped projects approved by clients.
• Design solutions to meet project requirements using your expertise.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of networking-focused experience in IT.
• Advanced understanding of building, designing, supporting, and diagnosing networks.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Vendor certifications in two or more technologies, preferably Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto, or equivalent at a Professional level or higher.
• Knowledge of Zscaler, SD-WAN, ACI, Cisco Wireless, Load Balancer, and Cloud Networking is advantageous.
• Experience in a client-facing role within an MSP environment.

You should be highly motivated, self-reliant, technically proficient, a strong team player, and able to work autonomously. Effective communication at all levels within Datacom and with clients is essential.
