Data Scientist

At smaXtec, we develop a unique health management system for dairy cows , using smart algorithms and AI applications to revolutionize herd health and sustainability.

Your Role

• Design and improve algorithms for processing IoT sensor data, including signal processing and feature extraction.
• Develop and maintain machine learning models, from prototyping to production.
• Design and further develop machine learning lifecycle solutions, contributing to the evolution of our MLOps platform.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of deployed models and continuously improve their performance in real-world use.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover meaningful features and labels for ML models.

Your Profile

• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus).
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts and workflows (e.g., Vertex AI)
• Solid SQL skills for working with data in warehouse environments.
• Experience with time-series data and/or IoT sensor data.
• Strong background in data analysis and modeling.
• Comfortable working in collaborative environments with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive mindset with a sense of ownership.
