Cost Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Cost calculation and analysis: Calculation and analysis of production and manufacturing costs of steel construction components
• Purchasing support: Assistance in supplier negotiations based on best cost calculations with Teamcenter Product Cost Management
• Identification of cost optimization potentials
• Close collaboration with purchasing, product development, and production
• Expert and point of contact for product cost issues in your area of responsibility

Your Qualifications

• Completed education (HTL, FH, TU) in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
• Relevant professional experience in purchasing price negotiations, design-to-cost
• Teamwork skills: Interdisciplinary cooperation with development departments, purchasing, SCM, production, quality, and controlling
• Experience with data preparation and processing (SAP, Excel, Power BI)
• Good command of spoken and written English, German would be a plus

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 52.197,04 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
