About the Role

We are seeking either an Associate Professor or Professor (Teaching and Research) in Project Management and Innovation.

Associate Professor (Teaching and Research)

  • Providing sustained leadership in teaching programs, primarily within Project Management & Innovation area in Business discipline.
  • Making an outstanding high-quality personal contribution to research and community service through original and innovative contributions, obtaining competitive research grants from outside the University and sustained publications within high-quality publications.
  • Playing a significant leadership role in the College/University and making a significant contribution to leadership at the national and/or international level within the Project Management & Innovation area in Business discipline.
  • Providing leadership in inspiring and innovative teaching informed by approaches that enhance the student experience.

Professor (Teaching and Research)

  • Providing outstanding teaching using contemporary pedagogy, a range of delivery methods, and innovative delivery methods in the area of project management and related areas.
  • Publishing high-quality publications in business, project management, and associated areas recognized as such nationally and internationally.
  • Gaining external competitive research grants and contributing to growth in Flinders' research income on a sustainable basis.
  • Providing leadership in inspiring and innovative teaching informed by approaches that enhance the student experience.
  • Supervising to completion Flinders research students including doctoral students in business and growing the PhD cohort.

Both positions are required to have completed a PhD, or equivalent qualification.
