Responsibilities
- Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz in the field of international law and conducting related independent research
- Collaborating on and critically examining the institute's research projects and assisting in the development of third-party funded projects
- Co-maintenance of the homepage
- Assistance with supervision of diploma and master theses
- Independent teaching of courses and participation in teaching and examination tasks of the institute/center
- Supervision of students
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures
Qualifications
- Completed diploma or master’s degree in the area of public international law
- Excellent doctrinal knowledge of international law
- Excellent analytical and writing ability
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English
- Experience with participation in projects (desirable)
- Ability to work in international and interdisciplinary teams
- Enjoyment of scientific work and dealing with students
- Very good IT skills and experience in working with databases
- High degree of personal responsibility and ability to cooperate
- Ability to communicate and work in a team
- Ability to meet deadlines

We offer an annual gross salary of at least €52,007.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
