The Optimum Nutrition Brand Manager role has the broad responsibility for development and execution of all Optimum Nutrition communications across key brand touchpoints, executing paid media strategies, sampling opportunities, collaborations, trade marketing and NPD. Additionally, the Optimum Nutrition Brand Manager will play a vital role in managing the brand and ensuring Optimum Nutrition shows up in authentic ways, reflecting consumer attitudes, beliefs, and stays on trend.

Working as an integral member of the marketing team, the Optimum Nutrition Brand Manager will work closely with the Graphic Design team, Digital Marketing Manager, Athlete and Partnership Manager & the Trade Marketing Manager to execute the annual go to market plans, whilst also establishing themselves as the point contact for Optimum Nutrition within the Oceania organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Drive brand activities including the day to day management of Creative, Influencers, Media and Trade Marketing to ensure the highest standard of communication and timely execution across multiple platforms in line with the brand plan and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager and the Commercial team to bring to life the agreed promotional program through specialty retailers both on and offline and help manage associated promotional calendars.
  • Work closely with the Trade Marketing Manager to ensure in-store & online trade program delivers against brand guidelines & objectives.
  • Work across online supplement stores and marketplaces to ensure best in class digital presentation in order to drive greater conversion.
  • Liaise with Trade Marketing Manager on consumer promotion strategy, creative and in‑market execution bi‑annually.
  • Work with the Senior Brand Manager to ensure best‑in‑class creative execution for top of funnel activity, that reflects Brand Communication guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Athlete Manager to collaborate on the creation of branded creative, including paid and organic content.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure all content is provided to fulfill the agreed 2025 paid media strategies, and ensure learnings are captured and KPI’s are being met.
  • Scheduling of organic content across various digital platforms where required.
  • Liaise with media buying agencies to lead the media plan execution across ATL platforms with Senior Brand Manager (e.g. BVOD).
  • Lead the gym sampling and integration program and execution.
  • Work on the launch of globally led NPD initiatives as identified by the Senior Marketing Manager e.g. New Flavour Launches.
  • Work with the Senior Brand Manager to ensure brand spend is delivered to budget on time, in full.
  • Seek opportunities for sampling, collaborations, PR, and abilities to unlock earned media.
  • Work with Senior Brand Manager to craft 3 year longer term brand strategy.
  • Management of brand marketing budget, ensuring marketing activity aligns with planned yearly spend.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A passion for brand marketing.
  • Analytical acumen and ability to work with insights/data.
  • Ability to manage sections of the A&A budget.
  • Ability to work autonomously but also be a strong team player with initiative.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and priorities.
  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Passion and entrepreneurial spirit to drive and implement brand strategies.
  • Strong project management skills notably working to budgets and deadlines.
  • A natural communicator with good reporting and presentation skills.
  • An influential and collaborative interpersonal style which will see you build effective cross‑functional stakeholder relationships.

Education/Experience:

  • Degree level qualifications in marketing and/or similar discipline.
  • 2+ years’ experience in brand management.
  • Experience working with external agencies.
  • Experience with various digital media platforms.
